1,5 days till my bday ^^

i went to see Tangled with my little brother this weekend and it was good! that's when i actually got this idea of having lanterns for my bday too. it looked so wonderfully magical and romantic - perfect for the (supposedly) the best day of the year.
but having my bday in winter (the day after tomorrow, to be exact - yay!) and in russia made me change my mind. all these snowstorms and wind - eh, i thought it was impossible.
can you imagine my surprise when i found out they had lanterns show scheduled for the saturday's evening - just hours after i saw the movie?!! i got all excited but suddenly it began to snow and the wind was superstrong so obviously they had to cancel the show. but can you believe it - i was checking my mail today and got a message saying they are gonna finally have the show! and.... right on my birthday!!! jeez, how come all my wishes come true?? haha

they are supposed to look like that and hopefully this time the weather will be nicer

now if i only had my guy with me, it'd be perfect... eh, he uses this stupid excuse that he's in another country and i told him to stay there because then he can come here later and stay longer. but still... boo, you whore!

now it's time to make more snow cats and go teach my korean kids...

thankful tuesday

"thankful thursday" may sound a bit better but i'm having a beautiful chocolate-overdose moment and here we go:

1. my family. obviously .

2. anything chocolate.

chocolate cakes, chocolate cookies, chocolate cereal, chocolate milk, chocolate yogurt, chocolate martini if it gets too unbearable. the only thing that helps me not to harm people during pms. yeap, if you thought that was bad, not even try to imagine what i'd be like without chocolate.

3. google/yandex/wikipedia/facebook. those are my most frequent visited websites and i honestly have no idea how people live without them. ugh, some people live with no internet access and are fine with that, so maybe we are just doomed. i have to check what wikipedia thinks about it, sorry

4. korean drama. oh my, i knew there was no way back when i first saw Bi-Rain/비's cute eyes (hhmm, swear i noticed his eyes first) in Full House...

not only every korean drama has a guy like above in every episode, they have really twisted plots, looots of tear-jerking romantic situations + lots of scenes of korean (sometimes) ridiculous reality.

my two favorite couples from k-drama right now:

5. good night sleep. which i'm about to have right now. eeeh, too many korean guys in one post, shame on me!!

a few things about myself for the starters:

1. i graduated from college a month ago. 5 years of hard work and constant slacking, and i get my 3 diplomas!

2. i work as a hotel receptionist. pros – eventually i get to meet really cool people. cons – 12 hour shifts standing on foot ALL THE TIME with no break

3. my family is awesome. i’ve got 3 bros and 1 sister, and i’m the eldest of the crew =)

4. i love my friends, picnics, cotton-candy, ballet shoes, sun-sneezing, dresses, cannot live without my ipod and i strongly believe that solving at least 1 sudoku puzzle a day makes my life better. a devoted knitter.
